Hello everyone! This week proved to be a really challenging one. Both physically and mentally lol. I had some really awesome experiences this week I would like to share with you. Some of you may or may not be aware, but we had a missionary broadcast this past week. There were a lot of things taught and said, but most importantly their were a lot of changes! I'm happy to say that pday was extended two more hours lol! I always could never quite get everything done, but now I will be able to lol. Als about a month ago we were walking in our area and I saw a little Caesars box laying on the ground. I then though to myself, it can't be. I never remembered hearing that there was one here, and I'm pretty sure people just don't import pizza boxes for the fun of it. Lucky we had to go in to Kingston for a doctors visit for elder Elliott. As we were driving around we spotted it! You guys should already know that all four of us stopped and got our own boxes lol. I ate mine in about 20 minutes cause we only get 30 minutes for lunch now. I must admit that I felt like crap for a few hours afterwards but it was well worth it lol. One of the things that really made this week challenging was that elder Elliott's bike is still not fixed. We have literally walked miles on miles this week lol. It's made planning really difficult as well cause we have to factor in the commute time lol, however I did see the hand of the lord work wonders for us many times this week. There are a set of brothers in our are named Chris and Dwayne. They are some really cool, but crazy kids haha. One is 13 and one is 15. As we have been teaching them this week they have both decided to be baptized on the 11th. I really know that this decision will effect their lives forever. I have a special place in my heart for them because they come from some very humbling circumstances. I just pray that as we continue to see them that they can feel the love and influence of the lord in their lives. We also had a few families move into our ward this week which was nice because they live in our area lol. I'm excited because I'll have more people to do missionary work with and to also feed me lol. I just hope that things are going really well for you all back home. I want you all to know that I love you and I will see you guys soon! Take care and turn up!

Hello my beloved family and friends. This week was still a hectic one for us but it was much more calm lol. As usual this last week on pday we just chilled haha. I don't know what it is but I just love being in an area where there are so many missionaries. On Tuesday we had district meeting and we talked a lot about covenants, and more specifically how they empower us. We as missionaries live a much different lifestyle then most people haha. There are some things we can't do that would normally be okay if we weren't on our missions. The point that they made in this meeting was that we can't help people make and keep covenants if we aren't even keeping our own. It just can't work at all. Our personal righteousness has an impact on all around us. My challenge to you all is that you take time this week and think about how you are doing at keeping your covenants if you have made them. Then take time to think on how you can improve. I promise if you work on whatever it is you will feel closer to God. This week we also had to make another unplanned visit to Kingston. We had to take elder Elliott to the doctor because he ruptured his eardrum with a q tip lol. Other than that things have been pretty normal. Our investigator Danny has kinda dropped off the map but hopefully we are able to get in touch with him this week. We also had elder gammiett, one of the area seventy, come and visit us for a special conference and oh man was it awesome! He really hit hard on asking questions to help teach our investigations. Afterwards elder Elliott and I went right to work and started applying what we learned. I must say it has worked really well. I must say that this is a really excited time of my mission. A lot of great things are taking place here. We are headed in the right direction. This past week another missionary brought up the fact that I only had like two and a half months left lol. It's really weird to think that my time is winding down, but the most important thing to me is that I finish strong. I love being a missionary and I love the gospel. I love our savior and our father in heaven, and in so thankful for all that they have done for me and others. I hope you all have a wonderful week and take care!

Hello family and friends! This week has been one of the more crazier ones here on my mission so far. We had a lot of really awesome things take place as well as a lot of scary things happen. We started teaching this really awesome guy this week named Danny. Danny is so prepared to accept the gospel. In our first lesson we taught the restoration, and I extended a commitment to him to pray about it after we left. I think he misunderstood but that was a really good thing. He prayed about it right in the middle of the lesson and when he looked up his countenance was different. He said that he felt really good like something had entered him. I told him it was the Holy Spirit telling him that it was true. After that he then preceded to pray about it again and got an even stronger answer. Out of all the people I have helped to be baptized I had never yet witnessed any of them gain an answer right before my eyes. It was so awesome! He has a baptismal date for the 28th of this month! This week was also really scary because we ended up having to go to the hospital twice this week. He was in really bad shape for most of the week. Last night we came back from the hospital and it looked like they finally figured out what was going on. He has some medications to help him and we should be up and at it full strength probably Wednesday. Oh and this week since we had to stay inside like 3 days I learned how to solve a rubics cube lol. I can do it in about two minutes so im pretty good for  having just learned it lol. I hope that all of you have had wonderful weeks. I encourage you all to think about our savior Jesus Christ daily. I love you all and take care!

Hello family and friends! I hope that this week was a really good one for you all back home or wherever you are! This week was an interesting week for elder Elliott and I. We taught a lot of lessons lol. We taught 27 total discussions this week which was nice! We were literally all over the place. we were able to pick up a few new investigators this week who seem really promising. I just continue to pray that as they keep their commitments that they will feel the spirit testify of its truthfulness unto them. Nothing really super super exciting took place this week. On Saturday elder Elliott and I both needed to go and buy a new tube so that we could have our bikes to get to all of our appointments we had for Sunday. By the time we finally made it around there the shop was closed. So yeah needless to say we had to do a lot of walking on Sunday lol, but its good exercise so I wont complain lol. I just love working with elder Elliott. He is just great and I feel like I have known him for forever. Good things are in the works here and I just continue to invite you all to pray for us that we may help many come unto Christ here. I love you all and have an amazing week!

Hello my family and friends! I hope that you are all having a wonderful new year so far! So last week I told you all that we got transfer calls and I found out that I would be training. On Wednesday I picked up my new companion and his name is Elder Elliott. He is so cool! He is from utah but has moved like 41 times because he is in the military. It has just been so great to work with him. He has been visa waiting in Arizona for the past 5 months. We have just been killing it together out here! He has just been such a blessing to work with. Not many new things really took place this week other than we found like 5 new investigators. One thing that I have really been thinking about this past week was that even though the holiday season is over, we should still continue to give Christlike service to those around us. I hope and pray that you all continue to do these things because they will only bring you closer to our father in heaven. I love you all and have a great week!
